MaÏna the creator utilizes old silverware from flee markets and various barns, reconstructing them into astonishingly sophisticated jewels. ï.de.m transforms exclusively in France these forgotten, and sometimes neglected, acquisitions into the chic accessories they were always meant to be.
After graduating in 2007 from the Paris School of Jewelry, maÏna designed fashion jewelry for many prêt-à-porter brands. However, after a couple of years, she started to seriously miss the handling of her own jeweler tools. More especially that producing them at the other side of the world really started to annoy her, when the knowledge of the prestigious French atelier was unfortunately not fully exploited.
Turning 25 years old, she decided to combine her creativity with her ethical convictions. This idea has been inspiring her for some time.
On a beautiful winter day of 2010, maÏna dared and launched ï.de.m, a brand full of poetry and surprises. ï.de.m had the honor to receive the Ethical Fashion Show Prize for September 2012 edition
